1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using First Impression (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Platform. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and members.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use First Impression. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older. We require mandatory government-issued ID verification for all members. Any account found to belong to a minor will be immediately terminated.

3. Account Registration

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@firstimpression.app if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

• Access to full platform features requires an active paid subscription.
• Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — no partial refunds are issued.
• All payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store payment card information.
• Prices are subject to change with reasonable advance notice.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Platform if you are under 18 years of age.
• Upload photos, videos, or audio that depict minors in any context.
• Harass, threaten, bully, or intimidate other members.
• Submit fake, misleading, or impersonating profile information.
• Share, copy, screenshot, or distribute other members' photos or personal information without their consent.
• Use the Platform for commercial solicitation, spam, or unauthorized advertising.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the Platform's functionality.
• Use automated bots, scrapers, or scripts to interact with the Platform.

6. Content & Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the content you upload (photos, videos, recordings). By uploading content, you grant First Impression a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and serve that content solely for the purpose of operating the Platform. You represent that you have the right to share all content you upload and that it does not violate any third-party rights.

7. Privacy of Feedback

All ratings and feedback scores you receive are strictly private and visible only to you. We do not display your individual scores publicly or share them with other members. The platform is designed as a personal self-improvement tool, not a public ranking system.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or behavior that harms the community. You may delete your account at any time via the Data Deletion page.

9. Disclaimers

First Impression is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that feedback provided by members will be accurate or helpful. Use of the Platform is at your own risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, First Impression shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to emotional distress, loss of data, or loss of revenue.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Colorado.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
